TEST
Description: The detailed information provided by the TELD-3 can help clinicians develop appropriate intervention plans and identify children who may require more extensive clinical appraisal. This brief test also is well-suited for monitoring progress over time. The TELD-3 uses brief, simple tasks to assess the broad picture of a child's language development, specifically the areas of semantics, syntax, and morphology. It is used to identify language delays (compared to age-related peers), to determine a child's strengths and weaknesses in the above language areas, to track a child's progress within a remediation program, or for research studies. The TELD-3 consists of two parallel forms, each with three subtests. Individual subtests include Receptive and Expressive Language. An Overall Spoken Language score is provided. All scores are standard scores with a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15. Percentiles and age equivalents are provided. Ages 2-0 and 7-11.
