Description: Interactive Reading In the home or out in the community, it's important for everyone to recognize and understand the meanings of street and safety signs. They exsist to protect us from harm or to guide us. Each page in this colorful book displays two signs commonly found in the home or out in the community. Students are asked to choose the correct sign in answer to a posed question. (Ex.) "What sign shows you where to get out?" Answer: "An EXIT sign." Once a student can match, identify, label and understand the meanings of each sign, try finding them in your home and community. Lots of fun!
