Each of the four stories in this unit breaks at appropriate places so the student can interact and respond through: - predicting outcomes - anticipating events - recording feelings - drawing details - writing dialogue - illustrating scenes - giving opinions As students read each fictional story, they are given opportunities to respond literally, inferentially, creatively, and cognitively. Students will be working on vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, creative writing, and more!
